i called a place in the newspaper that advertises free picks....when u call they give u a free pick and they continue to hound you to buy a service from them in which u will recieve a weeks worth of picks.....the free picks have won every time i have called for them so i was just wondering if this service is for real or if it is just a scam.....if anyone has ever used one of these services or know that they are just a scam please just post here and let me know........thanks

Don't do it. You'll regret it. Out of the 4 billion tout services, about 10 are legit, and out of those 10 only one or two are any good. You'll be alot better hanging around here following some of these people and practicing good money management.
they are all scams...if someone can get all the picks right they would not need your 50 bucks, instead they would be in vegas making a killing betting their picks. Stick to this board if you want qualtiy picks...everynight someone on here has a huge night and usaully it is the majority of the board
My advice is to sell your house and get a new phone number. Not only will these scabs keep calling you, but they will sell your phone number to every other boiler room slug in business. They will flood your mailbox with useless promotions and bullshit.

After giving me one whole winner for free?? I had one of these guys call me back and said we had a verbal agreement and that I owed him three hundred dollars.When I told him where to go he called me a welsh!!Don't trust these guys and Inever welshed in my life.
