It happened a long time ago but they were still allowing the newer insta cash methods to be used from Maryland.
I logged in this morning and my account was CLOSED, no access at all. I freaked because I use Neteller for all kinds of transfers and I was also worried about my account history. Hell this would be like losing my checkbooks with all the entries and records being kept by them.
I called them and they told me that they would reopen my account but I would not be able to deposit to them personally, but I could still use them for merchant transfers to my account and I could use them to send money to me or my bank. Just no deposits from Maryland banks or credit cards (I don't use those anyway).
Maryland required Neteller to send them all kinds of company records in order for them to use their banks and, since Neteller is not a US Corp, Neteller refused to disclose that information to Maryland. Pretty much, send us your company financials and we'll allow deposits from our banks. Neteller said "**** you" and Maryland said "**** you back, you can't use our banks".
assholes!!!!
