Interesting.Just signed up this outfit and was amazed to see every one of my outs is included with exception of British books.
Thought it might be good idea with some books getting on shakey ground to not leave too much excess in them.So transfered excess to neteller and let it sit in there instead.
Anyone know of any downside to this I may not have thought of?

Dogs, I use Paypal and and Neteller. You can associate your bank account with Paypal and make electronic deposits/withdrawals. Neteller and Paypal have free immediate withdrawal/deposits with each other. I keep my balances with Paypal (you get 5.2% interest there and it is more well known). When I want to transfer to a "neteller" book, I just move it to Neteller and then to the desired book.

Ian, Neteller has established accounts with numerous sportsbooks to allow you to transfer monies to/from Neteller and to/from your sportsbook. I have been using Paypal and Neteller since August. Its great. Neteller charges the sportsbook a transaction fee. Most sportsbooks absorb any fees. For instance Olympic picks up any fees if you deposit more than $300. Some books charge you $15 per withdrawal. There are some books that will only allow you to withdrawal via Neteller the amount you deposited. The 2 that do that are wwts and goto. Makes Neteller useless. Some books also charge a 4% fee, which sucks. They are Gameday an EasyBets. However, most are in the $15 range or free.

Fats Thanks a bunch for info as I am not aware of ropes yet but does look promising.
My first transaction however was a decline. I tried to transfer funds from $plays to neteller.I do not have Paypal probably would never link anything involved with net to bank account.Oly ordeal will scar me for life on credit card info or any other given on net. They can siphon my book accounts and I'll get over it but bank account is another matter.Think I'm all wet being that hard headed on that issue Fats?

Dogs,

I am a computer programmer. So I have embraced computerized banking and transactions. I pay virtually all my bills online. Yes, the Olympic thing is scary, but most banking institutions have a higher level of security thany the sportsbooks. Paypal has been around for awhile. They are a staple on E-Bay. Thats why I keep my money there instead of Neteller.

As a safeguard I login everday and check balances etc. You have my E-Mail, if you want to you can E-Mail me and we can discuss this further in private.

Update: Decline by $plays was an error which they politely corrected. While reluctant to link a checking account to Paypal I did check into it further knowing Fats knows most of right moves and was pleasantly surprised to find that in addition to paying interest they insure each account against fraud for $100,000 through Travelers.
Now I can finally play some of those hedges you gents come up with.Previously did not play many cause it always happened that same book would be winner and same book would be loser and was pain to transfer funds back and forth. Also allows me to transfer funds from accounts like WSEX, which will be dormant till next year foots except for a few golf matches, and draw interest on account.Best of all worlds.
Thanks Fats for your input and help.
Mucho Gracious.

Must admit I signed up for Neteller & PayPal at the start of this year - extremely useful given the # of different lines & matchups across the books. Should save a lot of money having to be kept in each account or having to constantly clear initial deposits back to CC to keep funds active.

IMO the best innivation since the start of online betting. Now if only they would sign up some European or Australian books ...

Stan, I agree. I would love to see some/all of the Euro books come aboard.

It seems that neteller is offering a direct link to your bank account. Would eliminate the need for paypal. If they are going to pay interest on balances, that would be great.

Just for a testimonial. I have been using PayPal to collect money from my roommates for rent and bills for a while now. Eliminates the use of multiple checks written. I have had a PayPal account for a year and never had a problem with it. I trust this company to keep everything secure.

5.2% interest is another key factor.
