I have not used this service but have noticed that many here at MJs do. I'm not exactly sure how they work and would like some observations, concerns and thoughts.
Thanks

Personally, I first used them because it is easy to transfer money with a lot of sportsbooks but I find them very imcompetent. The first time, I sent money from one of the 5 largest banks in England. They didn?t have that bank on their list despite having about 20 other banks.....many of which I?ve never heard of. I mean co-op is huge in England and they didn?t list it. The money took ages to show up despite the fact that it was in their bank within 3 days. They said they would add co-op on their list for the thousands of British that use neteller and co-op but they still haven?t (over a year at least). So the 2nd time was another pain in the ass.

Now I am waiting on a 3rd deposit and they suspend my account waiting for identity verification. They claim to do this via the phone number. I tell them to call me then....repeatedly but they still have not. My phone number is a cell and works anywhere in the world and they said they couldn?t get a hold of me. I am on holiday and spend a fortune on internet cafe`s trying to sort this. They keep giving me a toll-free number that only works in North America and another toll-free number for Europe that doesn?t work (since when does a Canadian phone number have 8 digits in it). I tell them (email and live-chat) and they keep giving my the run around saying they will call me then.....but still don?t and still keep my account locked. Then I tell them where I am (on holiday) and they say I have to be at home for the account to be verified. Why do I have to be home I ask? Because they verify the account via the phone number. But my England cell phone number is the same no matter where I am in the world (I even take calls in Canada) so what is the difference. They respond saying it is company policy that verification has to be done at home......like they could ever possibly know where I was.

So pathetic....I wish I could use another company but they seem to have a bit of a stranglehold in this business and now they are sitting there with 3,000 of my money that I can?t get at.

I am sure it is probably a lot easier from the States or within Canada but I would look for another way for any internationals.

You link a bank account up to their site. You can then do an "insta-deposit" which will show up right away but there's an 8.9% service charge. If you do a normal transfer it takes 4 days. Once the money is in there it's easy, transfer to and from sportsbooks, etc. Usually it's fee-free or they will cover the transfer fees to the books. Some books charge to withdraw under a certain amount of money, ie if you w/draw under 500 at pinnacle you get charged 15$ I think.

What I did is open a new checking account and keep nothing in it until I want to load up, then I'll transfer from my main account. That way, if anyone were to get my account info there is literally 6 dollars in it for the taking.

Boy someone from Neteller must be reading this. They just sorted me out after all the hassle I have been going through for days.

NEVER had a problem with them. Like Saint said, the 8.9% can be high, but it takes literally seconds to move from your bank to Neteller to the sportsbook. With Pinnacle, it is a $15 fee ($20 at Carib) and you get 1 free withdrawal per month ($500 and up) which is good.

Highly sugest (like Saint said) is open a seperate account (for gambling only) and that way, none of your bank account info is accessable. I have 2 (Linked up with BOA) and when the funds come in, I transfer 99.9% into my real checking account and leave a few dollars in the gambling account.

Hope this helps!
