The New Jersey Nets look to take outright first place in the East when they travel to Chicago tonight to take on the Bulls.

The Nets have a 48-30 record to be tied with the Detroit Pistons for top spot in the East. But their road record is a less than impressive 16-23 SU and 18-21 ATS. They have won just 4 of their last 14 road games so to be laying 7.5 points tonight against a team that has performed well at home may prove too difficult a task.

The Bulls have been excellent at home and embarrassing away....going 25-14 SU at the United Center and a pitiful 3-37 on the road. Last time out they lost in OT at Detroit but they will relish being back home where they have 9 of their last 14 including wins over the Lakers, Pacers, Bucks, Suns and Warriors.

While the Nets have easily won the last two in this series both of those games were played at New Jersey. The last time these teams met in Chicago the Bulls were 7 point underdogs but didn't need the points as they won outright 100-93.

Tonight we'll go with the Bulls to continue their solid home form and expect them to at least cover.
