I realize NJ has won 11 in a row and covered 10 of them, but the linemaker looks to have finally caught up. There's a few angles to support this play:
1. High spread/with a low total- Its dangerous to lay a lot of pts in a game where there doesn't figure to be many points scored.
2. A team who comes off a home loss and who's a dog in their next game is a 57-59% proposition. There's more motivation to play hard after disappointing the home fans last time out.
3. Toronto has played solidly defensively recently; in their last 5 home games, opponents have shot only 40%, and that includes the Pacers, Spurs and Lakers.
4. After winning and covering their first 10 w/the new coach, the Nets did not cover in their first game after the break.
