The Denver Broncos have been losing football games as of late due to not protecting the football. The New England Patriots have been winning football games by forcing turnovers and playing smart. Mike Shanahan knows this.....expect a vanilla type gameplan tonight that will include running the clock with runs and keeping the defense honest with play action passes (high percentage passes). The Patriots do not excel at any facet of the game. In fact, they are quite mediocre. Denver will have the ability to run the ball on this defense and should control the line of scrimmage. After all, this is Mile High on Monday Night, and a loss here by the Broncos will likely put them 4 games down in the AFC West. That lead would be insurmountable. Look for Shanahan to play this one smart, and if the Pats are to win this game it is going to be by beating the Broncos. The Broncos will not lose this game as a result of mistakes. They get the job done tonight as they start a VERY winnable stretch of 3 straight home games.
