Great move, Jack. Nick always has valid points that he is willing to share, and I think having him in the MadJack stable only strengthens our chances.

btw- cow's page is still in tact if i ever hear from him again. he posted prior to the baseball season saying that he would "be back soon". when i tried emailing him yesterday, his email was returned "undeliverable". If anybody knows how I can contact him, please let me know. I hope everything is ok with you and yours, cow. let us know if you're ok.

a big reason we selected Nick, aside from his good handicapping qualities, was because he will be providing madjacks with some quality articles that will be featured on the front page.

good luck posting as a guest capper, nick!!

although i am sure there are many more qualified people out there, off the top of my head i could not think of anyone more valuable to mj than nick, from all i have seen in the last few months.

i kind of enjoyed a give and take he and nolan had, although a bit too extensive for my pleasure. i personally like them both on their own merits and look forward to having them around and being friends.

so far, i have only agreed with nick, as his approach to bb is similar to mine. i am looking forward to the football season to hopefully find a reason to disagree with him.

aside from the 'capping side, he is indeed an accomplished writer who can put things in perspective for the reader, as jack said, providing mj with many more enjoyable articles.

i know nick is nick and nolan is nolan, but we want you both there, guys.

good show, nick...and jack.

As far as football goes I mainly focus on the NFL. I watch a good number of Pac 10 games so if there is something I see I may play one or two games but I really don't play much, if any, college football or basketball because I have not had good success with it in the past.

I thought the NFL was my best sport as I had always made good money up until two years ago but then I had a losing season in '99 and I barely made a profit in 2000. I expect to come back strong this year as I think I have learned something from the last couple of years. FWIW, I mainly bet sides in the NFL with only a few totals.

aha, now we are getting somewhere!!

will be looking forward to disagreing with you on some of those nfl games, nick.

jack: this may sound silly, but is it possible to have these "cappers" who have their own folder pop up on top of the main folder every so often?

as much as i get into these folders, i forget to go back for the picks and really miss it. i have missed nolan since the football season, as he used to come in with comments, etc. now nick will leave the folder as well. i don't know, am i way out in left field on this one?
