New Mexico +1 over Air Force ***
NM just beat them last night by 8,73-65 These are the 2 worst teams in the MT conf. They are 4-17 and 6-13..does it matter which is which. If you look at ATS records both are bad NM is 6-13ats and AF almost the same.. Lobos on offense in scoring,FG%,3pt%,FT%[59%] rank 316,300,345 and 346th Think FT at 59% is worst in the country .. But..its a huge But.. they rank 39th in rebounding 39th in the country.. think because they can't shoot and miss so many shots they have a better chance to get their own rebound,, [ only my opinion} on defense are much better.. but still not very good. Meanwhile AF is not in the 300's in everything but they can't rebound and shoot the 3 all day, Problem is they can't hit the 3.. In last nights game vs Lobos they were 6-24 .. Think thats about 24%.. The key of this game is New Mex can dominate the paint despite shootin 3-9 from teh 3.. Maluach the Lobo Australian kid scored 22 and Lobos pt gd is 6'6 and had 13 assist.. Lobos play a little better defense and think they can get another win vs the Flyboys.. Also AF fired last yrs coach and now he is an asst coach at New Mex, Don't think that means to much because both teams are bad..
