The Memphis Grizzlies try to continue their strong recent run tonight when they play host to the New Orleans Hornets
Memphis have won seven of their last eight home games SU, covering six of these. Recently at home they have beaten the Clippers, Magic, Bucks, Warriors, Rockets, Nuggets and Suns by an average of 10 points. Their only loss during this stretch was a 74-103 lesson from the Jazz.
New Orleans are going for their third straight win tonight and started this two game road trip with a 99-84 win over the struggling Raptors. Prior to that their road record was poor....they had lost six of seven SU by an average of 9 points and covered just three of nine. This is their third game in four nights so fatigue may be a factor late. Baron Davis is expected to miss his third straight game with back spasms.
The Grizzlies have covered three of the last four in this series.
We firmly believe the wrong team is favored here and expect Memphis to win by 5-8 points.
