VegasInsider.com has learned the XFL will initiate a rule change involving bump-and-run coverage. The upstart league will announce later today that it is instituting a five-yard "bump" rule similar to the rule employed by the NFL.
The rule change is in reaction to low-scoring XFL contests and is an attempt by league officials to infuse more offense into games.
As a result of the pending rule change, Las Vegas Sports Consultants has withdrawn all totals for Week 5 games
