I called Jim on Friday, actually. The conversation went something like this:

ND: No, Jim, it's Nick. You're not supposed to dial a number now.
BTJ: Rick? [beep] [beep] How'd you get in there, Rick?

As you can clearly see, beantownjim's handicapping acumen has not only been seen in his posts in this very forum, but also in this certified transcript of beantownjim's phone conversation with former Mad Jack's handicapper Nick Douglas.
In closing I would like to thank Jack for offering my this wonderful, yet brief opportunity. I understand that results are what counts and that my untimely cold streak has left my baseball profits reeling at a paltry 6 dimes. Thanks. Actually, what I wrote above was meant to be sarcasm. I have had streaks way more horrid than this in the past. That is the reason I stick to the same amount on every play and I keep my number of plays small. I am in it for the long haul and that is what keeps me afloat during down streaks.
