Newport has a history of "Davids" winning titles here (Rajeev Ram, Fabrice Santoro (twice)) and Rochus certainly qualifies. Mardy has an awful record in ATP finals, just 3-7 in his career, having dropped 6 of his last 7. Small play here but I think it is worth a shot..
