One thing to consider is that Seattle is a pretty bad road team. They're damn near unbeatable at home but they usually look bad on the road. I realize they would have a ton of fans there, but it's not the same as a home game.

seattle plays on field turf, so gotta think that levels the playing field back a little bit seeing as ford field has the same surface. but you are correct, proximity favors pittsburgh and seattle has been much weaker on the road.

I like Portland in that game. I realize Dallas is a much better team, but that's too many points to be laying on the road. They've also been on the road for a while now haven't they? Wouldn't be surprised to see them lose straight up. Think it will be a close game.

Dallas played Hou and Lac both on the road, this is the 3rd road
game, Port has won 4 straight so had Dallas

Good point. I was also thinking of homefield advantage with the fans though. Although, it won't be a typical road game because they should have about half of the fans. 3.5 seem like too many to you gman? Don't see why Seattle couldn't win straight up?

Does anyone here see Carolina making a come back?

They will probably score again, but I don't think they will make it close. Then again, Seattle's D has been known to lay down when they get big leads.

Yeah, I think Portland would be the play. I just don't like backing the Blazers cuz you never know what you're going to get with them.

Just took Port +9, 60-50, Hope I'm correct, LOL

Wow, it's up to 9??? Geez. I may have to jump on it too. I don't really have a "system" when it comes to playing basketball picks, but I try to go against big road faves as much as possible. Betting big road faves will take you straight to the poorhouse. NBA or college, doesn't matter which one.

I think my Seattle pick 'em 2h bet is screwed. Seattle may as well be taking a knee at this point. I hate Holmgren and his conservative b.s. playcalling.

I try to avoid giving pts on the road also, especially the 1-3 pt
fav. Its like slow death, the scenrio is always the same, the fav takes a big lead the it widdles down and the home team wins.
At least that how i remember the beats, LOL

Well you're definitely one of the better cappers on this site. Makes me feel better about taking Seattle.

Exactly. I had Sac -1 last night at Orlando. Orlando sucks and they were on the 2nd of a back-to-back. Sac blew an 11 point halftime lead by scoring 28 points in the 2h and overtime COMBINED. Unreal.

Did u get them at pk or - 1/2.

Yeah, Holmgren and parcell are the same animal, the wont give any big responsiblities to the players. Thats why they lose so many close games. That system really hurt Dallas this year, especially becuase he had a suck ass kicker

I got it at a pick. When I said "screwed" I meant getting screwed out of winning, but not necessarily losing. I could still win it, but I could very easily push. Hell, there's even a decent chance I will lose with it. Seattle's D has already softened up big time and their O looks content to just hand the ball off every play.
