Went 11-2-2 on posted plays last weekend, excluding the winning Wizards pick, hitting 5 out of 7 parlays, after a disappointing,(and losing) wildcard weekend. The Under for the Season on grass by Phila trend broke decisively,as these trends sometimes do when they finally go down.Green Bay is still winless against the spread on turf this season, with all going over, the easiest game to read on the board,if one watched them play @Minnesota and @Detroit.This week I am playing the Eagles+11- and under 49- in the NFC Championship Game.I got the under at 49- and will likely play again at 49.Phila cb Troy Vincent going down would hurt this play, I know, as could the young Eagles QB making mistakes, but I'm looking for a repeat of Tbay/Stl Championship game in the Rams Superbowl year, the Giants/Stl game this year, and well, the Phila/Stl game this year.Unless Vincent is ineffective, the Rams may run more than normal considering Warners rib injuries and the Eagles fondness for the blitz.Phila must stop the run first (no news here, this is the NFL mantra, even against the pass happy Rams) and their D line and blitzers effectiveness against Stl's O line is the single most important factor of this game IMHO.Everybody knows that if the Rams have time enough to be comfortable in the pocket, nobody in this years NFL can beat them.On offense, the Phila team must be on their game, not turn the ball over to the tough and opportunistic Stl D,run the ball at least somewhat effectively and rely on McNabb's mature play to continue for one more game.I think their o line played great last week, and I look for Phila to have a decent running game vs Slt.A tall order,I know, but thats how it plays out to me.GL either way

OK,I sucked in game 1 like a lot of the herd.Am waiting out this monster and hoping I have the late game dialed as well as I had this one incorrect.Re: the first half total never "being in doubt",how many were honestly sure that pass interference call was offensive when the flag was thrown at the end of the half. The one for the Pats at the Steelers 40 was a catch, too, and likely would have led to a fg try.Heinz Ward was down before he juggled it in his reviewed sideline catch in the first half IMO.And the Pitt guys hand was under that ball at the 32.A cowardly call by Ed.At that point, like someone said before,Ed the Ref appeared to feel duty bound to call 'em all incomplete. That's the way the cookie crumbles, but it certainly was possible that another 3 points could have been scored.Pitt is another story though, the Steelies great season looks cooked,(unless they come up with "the miracle at the pickle" and score three more unanswered touchdowns, that is..)Bill Cowhead is being outcoached by BB it appears. Can he adjust? If not it's Congrats to NE backers. You never had a doubt I'm sure.Gimme the next game and the college bball totals and I'm still looking good.Go Eagles,(tickle Kurt's ribs)Gl either way
