Last week: 4-3 (+$70)
Trying to stay on the plus side with these:
BUF/HOU Over 44 (HOU should score at least 14-17 against the Bills defense and that's probably enough to push this one over)
BAL +7 (Ray Lewis sitting out worries me, but this Ravens team has been playing great the last couple of weeks on both sides of the ball. The other Lewis, Jamal, should easily get 120 yds and maybe a couple of scores to help his team stay within the spread against a really poor Indy run defense.)
Teaser: BUF -1.5/JAX +4.5 (Just need Buffalo to win, and if Jax doesn't win outright, they should be able to stay within the magic numbers of 3 & 4 which we pick up with the teaser here at this number. Jags looked real good on defense vs. Philly last week, and the Titan defense, especially against the pass, is not very impressive)
MIA/DEN Under 41.5 (Both coaches are likely to stay conservative and run the ball with Ricky and Portis, and both defenses rank in the top 5 against the run, so the clock will run and there won't be much scoring, in my opinion)
SF -3 (OK, maybe this one is a trap, but Hearst/Barlow will run all over the Seahawk defense even if Garcia/Owens aren't playing like they did last year. Shaun Alexander hopefully does OK because he's on my fantasy team, but the SF run defense isn't the joke he faced against Minnesota last time out.)
That's it for now. If STL gets up to +10, that's a play, and I might take it at +9 at home. Also looking at MIN -4.5 and GB +5.5 as possibles, but can't quite pull the trigger for some reason.
