I haven't been watching much of the preseason, so have probably missed the explanation, but wanted to know what the neon green circle on the back of the QB's helmet is?

Any Helmet with the green dot indicatescommunication equipment to the coaches booth. I forget which team (Falcons are in my head I'm not sure) but a few cases came up last year where the QB would split out to the slot and the backup would come in for a play, and both had the communication equipment on the field. Since only one device is allowed on the field, they essentially "count the dots" on each play.
