I have comcast here in Jax and I am setting here watching Tampa bay/balt not in HD. WTF? All the fox games are in HD. I can not believe the NFL allows there broadcasts not in HD?
My Question is for you Direct TV subscribers are all the games in HD as in the AFC games even if you do not have the NFL ticket? Would appreciate some help as I am sick of having $5000's worth of tv's and games that are not in HD. Bullsh*t
f**k!!! COMCAST

Headed to the Jags game!
Go Jags!!!!!!!!!!!

I have DTV and all games are in HD if you have Sunday Ticket with the SuperFan package. I dont care how much it costs, its worth every cent.

For the network games I also have them in HD as we have a seperate antenna for them. Not sure about digital cable, but not all carriers will carry the HD feed.

DTV is a must for NFL season.

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW

Direct TV is worth twice what we pay for it, dont tell them though

First year with it, they have everything in HD and then some, they have the Superfan , and then they have the game mix, eight games on one channel.

and for all the fanasty junkies, they have up to the minute players stats and game stats, in a picture in picture format. the game shrinks to about 80% of game then u get all scores and stats as u what them

if you set alerts on certain players , when they do something they will alert you.

the best thing i think that happened to tv.

i mean this thing is so interactive its unreal.

TRUST ME ALL, PAY THE MONEY AND GET IT.

One more thing come thanksgiving some games will only be on the NFL network, some carriers do not have it.

3 games not in HD today

3 games not in HD today

I've had season ticket for years.. usually all the NFC games are in HD.. for some weird reason, Directv did not show us in other markets the AZ-SF game in HD (but I saw some highlights in HD, so I think it was shot in HD). My guess is that the Directv satellites still don't have enough space to show all the NFC games on at one time in HD, so they "choose" AZ-SF to not be shown in HD, unless you were in the AZ or SF markets....

As far as the AFC games, 2 of them were not in HD today - Balt/TB and the Jets/TN.... CBS doesn't do all their games in HD each week for some reason... a couple of years ago they'd do 1 game, then last year they would do 2-3, and this year it appears it is about 2/3 of the games..

So, no, you don't get every game in HD with Directv, but it is pretty close to all of them.

Appreciate all the reply's. I conur from the repsonses that CBS does not broadcast all the games in HD. Only the 2 games of the day or national broadcasts and maybe one more. That is just a joke in this day and age. I am still sick of comcast as the dvr I have skips stops completely on some recorded programs like the jags game I was at yesterday damit so I think I will give direct tv a try as everyone on here seems to like them. Only problem I see is I will need to find another internet provider or pay the outragious higher fee from comcast if you do not have cable tv and it will probably be DSL which I here is somewhat slower than broadband. Pain in the ass.
Thanks
