Tough card IMO. Games where the favs should win have inflated lines. On the other end, hard to put your money on crappy teams. Best bet - cap the games straight up and throw emotion out of the equation. Should have waited on some of these lines.

Buf +3.5 Buf plays everyone tough at home and will be within striking distance.

Minny -6.5 Both teams going in opposite directions. Rams rookie qb Ryan Fitzpatrick facing the loud dome and a much improved Viking defense.

Chic +5.5 This spot says Pit primed for a win. I agree. But anyone not think this game looks to be close? Just playing it straight on paper.

Jags +7.5 Not entirely thrilled with Jags qb Garrard starting but this team does not rely heavily on position players. Looking for the same team effort from their 5 game winning streak to continue. Being 5th in the league in D and holding Indy to 10pts in the first matchup is a plus.

Car -5 Tampa should put up more of a fight than Atl last week and are much improved since the last meeting with Car. However, still ways to go before Simms could beat this type of defense on the road. A division game for the lead this late in the season means both teams play to their potential. So Car by a TD.

Cincy -12 Charlie Frye against a team that should be peaking. No Braylon Edwards. We'll see what happens.

KC +3 Chiefs appear to be coming together. D has improved. They rank 5th in the league against the run. Secondary had 6 ints against Brady and Plummer. If Dallas can't control the game on the ground that puts it in the hands of Bledsoe. Dallas plays D and is phyical but do not have the offense to overcome stupid qb mistakes.

SF +16 Not much to say about the inferior team having a chance to win the game, but playing the back door as 2-10 teams tend to pursue late scores so they have something to build on.

Miami +13.5 Ditto above

Balt +14 Ditto above
