4 plays for today including 2 big ones.
Houston -3 (-120) over New Orleans (7 Units)
Its not an overstatement to say that the Saints have one of the worst defenses in NFL history to this point in the season. Houston gets Hoyer back today, and everyone has shredded the Saints defense of late, so today should be no different. Houston's defense has stepped it up of late and really played well pressure the QB and causing turnovers. Just like in the Washington game, I expect Drew Brees to try to do too much turn the ball over a few times and that should more than enough for an easy Houston win today. Houston by 13
Denver +3 over New England (7 Units)
Just like the Panthers were not being given enough credit, the Patriots with their massive injuries are being given too much. The Patriots will start 1 receiver today of the 5 who on their starting roster, they continue to be without a good running game, and the offensive line still has injuries everywhere. On top of this, traditionally the Patriots have struggled in Denver. The change to Osweiler actually is likely to help the Broncos as poorly as Manning was playing and Sanders will play today adding another weapon for him. If the Patriots were healthier and in New England they would win, but they are not and are will not. Denver by 4
Minnesota +2.5 over Atlanta (4 Units)
After a really hot start to the season, the Falcons have come crashing back to earth and Matt Ryan has returned to his decent but far from great QB he is. Without Freeman the Falcons do not have much of a running game and that will put a lot of pressure on Ryan, who makes mistakes when forced to carry the offense as with Minnesota has the 3rd ranked scoring defense, that will compound issues for the Falcons offense. Atlanta does have the best rushing defense in the league, but have faced no one like Peterson this year or even close. Vikings do just enough for the win in a low scoring contest. Vikings by 2
San Diego +5 over Jacksonville (3 Units)
More gut feeling here than anything. Jacksonville has not beaten any team by 5 points or more this year and San Diego is coming off their worst loss of the season, which leads me to think this line is getting overblown. San Diego should be able keep within a FG. Jacksonville by 3
