Hi all, just joining this great forum. Putting up 6 plays for today:

New England OVER 31 (-120) points (Team Total - 5 Units)

This type of game would typically be a trap game for the Patriots, coming off a big road win and facing a poor team like the Jags. However, 2 things are in play here: 1st, the Patriots are going to try to score as many points as possible in every game this year, and 2nd, the Jags had a nice showing last week beating Miami late. New England's offense will be ready from the kickoff, and while I do not see a close game, I am weary of a backdoor cover, so taking the Patriots offense to pile up points instead. New England 40-24

NY Jets -1 over Philly (4 Units)

Keep hearing that Philly is about to wake up and turn it on. The problem is Bradford is at best a mediocre QB and the Eagles have no idea how to deploy Murray (if he even plays). The Jets defense has a solid front with excellent corners, which spells a very long day for Bradford. Fitzpatrick makes the Jets offense serviceable and that will be more than enough today. Jets 27-20

Pittsburgh OVER 24 points (Team Total - 4 Units)

The Rams defense was supposed to be really good this year, except it really has not played that way so far. In beating Seattle, the defense was bad, and even against Washington, they had holes all over. The Steelers get Bell back today and should have a great running game plus the best wide receiver in the football to power the offense. On the other side for the Steelers, their defense is no where near as good as last week's showing and will give up plenty of points, so the offense is going to have to score. Pittsburgh 31-27

New Orleans/Carolina UNDER 43.5 points (4 Units)

Even with Drew Brees the Saints were not likely to break 17-20 points in this game, without him they likely will not get over 13-14 points. Carolina's offense is pretty much throw Olsen and watch Cam try to create something. Carolina 23-13

Tennessee +160 over Indy (3 Units)

The Colts have to bounce back, they are way too talented....or at least that is the theory. The problem is their offensive and defensive lines are horrendous and if you can not protect the QB and rush the QB, it is going to be a long day. On the road in Tennessee, I look for more struggles from the Colts offense and for Mariota to do enough for the outright win at home. Tennessee 24-20

Minnesota -1 over San Diego (3 Units)

With AP in the backfield, the Vikings offense should be able to put up some points on the Chargers. Bridgewater will likely not throw a lot, but he should not have to either, just as last week as the Chargers can not stop the run. The Vikings defense will play well enough to slow down Rivers and the Vikings will win at home. Minnesota 24-20

A few small player prop plays to add, 1 Unit each:

Terrance Williams OVER 54.5 yards (-115)

With Bryant out and the passing game over Atlanta, the Cowboys are still going to be throwing quite a bit. Williams last week totaled 84 yards and a touchdown, and he should be a prime target again today.

Jimmy Clausen will throw INT first (INT vs. TD) +100

Without his top receiver playing, Clausen should have a tough time moving the ball through the air. Seattle coming in 0-2 and the defense is likely looking to make a statement at home and start fast.

Marshawn Lynch UNDER 94.5 yards rushing (-115)

Lynch is being slowed by injury and the Seahawks will be careful with him. Even more so, against the Bears there is no need to have Lynch get that many carries.
