NFL preseason action heating up at betED.com
The second week of the National Football League preseason schedule gets going Thursday with a pair of matchups.
Quarterback Tom Brady, who looked impressive tossing two touchdown passes last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, and his New England Patriots host the Cincinnati Bengals in the first tilt Thursday.
The Pats are 7-point favorites and the over/under is 37 in NFL Betting Lines.
And then Michael Vick?s new team, the Philadelphia Eagles, will be in Indianapolis to take on the Colts (8 pm ET, FOX).
The Eagles are 3-point favorites and the total is 36.
On Friday, the Tennessee Titans will be the first team to face the Dallas Cowboys in the team?s new home, as Cowboys Stadium in Arlington makes its debut (8 pm ET, FOX). Dallas is a 2.5-point favorite.
Also Friday, the Kansas City Chiefs are 3.5-point road underdogs against the Minnesota Vikings, and the Atlanta Falcons are 3-point faves against the Rams in St. Louis.
Saturday is the busiest day of the NFL schedule this week with 10 tilts, including the Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers traveling to the nation?s capital for a game against the Washington Redskins (7:30 pm ET, Comcast, NFL).
Pittsburgh is a 1-point favorite.
And the New York Giants will be in the Windy City to battle the Chicago Bears (8 pm ET, NBC), with the Bears 2-point faves.
In an all-Florida matchup, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Jaguars in Jacksonville. And the San Diego Chargers will be in Phoenix to face the Arizona Cardinals (10 pm ET, CBS).
And on Monday, the New York Jets face the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore (8 pm ET, ESPN).
