Does the NFL even need preseason games? I know it's only one game, but...very few penalties in last nights game which surprised me. I do not think they even need preseason games anymore JMO :0008

I never watched them anyway so I can do without. I think they do help teams get ready for the season.
It's a way to discern all their talent and who to cut, and could be done in one or two games max, but more importantly, greedily charge full ticket prices to season ticket holders, which is total bullshit. All about the dollar
I used to go to Steelers preseason games for free (student pass) and drink until I woke up.
Only a couple times though.
