Dear Fellow Cappers:

I realize this is not the best time to promote a radio show, coming off a losing weekend, and in the middle of a slump. However, I have an opportunity to do a web broadcast at FanCast tomorrow morning.

The time of the first real broadcast is scheduled for 11:00 am EST.

If you would like to tune-in and listen, please go to:
http://www.fancast.com

Go to "Sports Talk" and you will see the link. You may need to download the sound system, which usually takes about 5 minutes, or so. It's very easy. just click LISTEN and the sound system is downloaded quickly.

The show is free, and is highlighted by my name (NOLAN DALLA) and "MADJACKSPORTS."

I would like to ask one favor of those who come to listen:

Please let me know how the sound quality is immediately. You can IM me via AOL (nolandalla@aol.com), or talk online if you have a mircophone.

I will use this as a test run to see how things go. Please don't expect a crisp show, as this is "pre-season" for me. But, if things go well technically, I hope to do this twice a week with an hour each show. It might even be nice to take questions and hear comments online. I think this interactive format may be interesting.

If this goes well, I hope we can use this forum (FanCast) to do online discussions here with MadJacks handicappers. Perahps a number of you might be interested in hosting a program. We have the best in the business at this site and I hope you wil give this program a chance and see what happens.

Please bear with me and help out with feedback if possible.

Thanks to all in advance.

Nolan, Wishing you a great show tomorrow.
I'll be on the road, so I won't be able to listen.

As for any thought of a slump, we all realize that we can't win every game. You, my friend, are a WINNER!! Your hard work is greatly appreciated!!

scrubby, tried listening too, but the audio was so bad, gave up--not sure why they're using the real player format.

Nolan,
Sound came in and out for me. Hope you keep tinkering as it sounded like a great program; I mean, what I could understand.

Same prob here too man.....A lot of Giberish...Blah Blah Blah...For some reason it does sound like the Charlie Brown show...but I think A lot of people here are trying to listen without a positive outcome...good luck...will follow up on this.

I guess they're using wonderhorse because it facilitates two way transmission.
I downloaded it from Lycos and it worked ok there.
Didn't work at all at fancast.
I kinda got stuck there and never heard any of it.

Thanks to all who listened and who gave me feedback.

I'll try and resolve these issues if I can. I'm not sure of the problems is with me (mircophone quality) or is more techincal (computer oriented). The next show will be the main determinant as to whether I wil continue with this. I'll try again on Thursday about the same time. I'll post the time here at this site.

Thanks again.

Nolan -

I like the show. I have a cable modem and didn't have much of a problem with it. The sound was muffled a little bit though. I don't know what it was due to, the microphone or the download. Looking forward to hearing the next installment.
