Preseason Record 0-3 -7.0 units

Like the Steelers for a number of reasons that have already been laid out on this board (Head Coach, at home, preseason defensive style). But, the number one reason I like the Steelers is the fact that with the injuries that the Jets have already had this year, they have had the reminder of how costly the preseason can be. The Jets will just want to keep everyone healthy. However, with the 5-point chalk, a 3- to 4-point Steeler victory will not make the cash and I think both are likely, but so is a 6+ point victory.

Tease the Steelers and the under

Steelers +1 and under 37.5 3 units

probably a smart move....but,aren`t you the guy who posted the consensus threads during the ncaa tourney?.....tonight was just another example of overwhelming support falling on one side and most people getting stuck.....can you do the same type of analysis for football?.....i am convinced that if you stick with that type of format for the season, you will eventually profit.....please respond yea or ney.....appreciate your response...by the way, take a long, hard look at over 32 in the bill-cincy game....if you can afford it,it looks very promising...qb battles and loads of young offensive talent...buffalo is goosed about there club and it should be high scoring...also ilike buffalo(especially if the line is less than a field goal).....g.l.

I honestly don't think there would be any value in a consensus thread for the preseason. Preseason is for degenerates only :) . I just need some time off. This is my first year of year-round betting and I'm just a little fatigued. Plus, I forced a bet on a game with a team that I've never been able to read (Jets) and, on top of that, I used a tease, which I've never been good at.

i really didn`t mean the pre-season....i don`t want to bug you after a loss, but,i thought your ncaa work was right on....consider throwing up a weekly consensus thread on the obvious overplays .....i can get a feel for it just by scanning different gambling forums, but, you had it pegged during the hoops tourney.....i`ll keep an eye on your threads in case you reconsider....good work in hoops, and good luck in f`balll....

I don?t get bothered after a loss; starting to get very used to it. I am not an expert on anti-consensus plays, as I?ve only been gambling seriously for about 4 years. The only time that I?ve tracked anti-consensus is during the Bowl season and March Madness as that?s when I normally did badly when I didn?t research my plays.

But I do have plans to track anti-consensus this year, not for wagering purposes, but to get an idea of what would work. I really don?t think that it would work in the NFL as the public friendly teams hit at a good enough percentage. What kills most NFL bettors is the 4-5 weeks that dogs take 11-12 games. With the average bettor putting too much of his bankroll in action, those weeks are suicide for him. But I?ll start tracking it this year and also comparing other consensus sites with the ?oh so sharp? MadJack?s members at bestbettor and I?ll post the results
