Best Pick Record = 0-0
Strong Pick Record = 0-0
Regular Pick Record = 0-0

Oakland @ Baltimore

Best Bet = Baltimore -11.5

Here's two teams heading in the opposite
direction. Oakland is probably the worst team in
the league, while Baltimore has climbed up the
ladder to once again be a top 5 team. These
teams also had exact opposite scores last week
as well, with Oakland losing 27-0 to the hands
of San Diego, and Baltimore beating Tampa Bay
27-0. Getting McNair in the off season seems to
have ignited a spark in Baltimore, he is their
1st good quarterback since their superbowl
victory in 2000. As long as their big four stay
healthy (McNair,J.Lewis,R.Lewis,E.Reed) I see
this team battling it out with Pittsburgh and
Cinci right to the end. Oakland has to many
negatives to name, so I'll spare you the
details and just say they're horrible.

Cleveland @ Cincinnati

Best Pick = Cincinnati -10.5

The Bengals had an amazing regular season last
year. Then Carson Palmer went down with a career
threatening knee injury vs the steelers. I'm
sure there's alot of what if's, if Palmer would
have remained in that game. Now that Palmer is
back, and has a game under his belt, which has
to be good for his confidence, I look for Cinci
to beat up on teams just like they did last
year. Their defense has also improved in the
offseason, and a team like this should have no
problem beating a lower level team like the
Browns, expecially at home.

------------------------------------------------

St. Louis @ San Francisco

Strong Pick = St. Louis -3

St. Louis is still an unproven team, even after
beating Denver 18-10 last week. San Francisco
is still a bottom 10 team though and I'd take
about 25 other teams only spotting them 3
points. I believe this line is so low, because
the 49ers beat St. Louis twice last year. It's
a new season, and a new head coach for the rams
though, and they should come out
on top against weaker teams.

------------------------------------------------

Washington @ Dallas

Strong Pick = Dallas -5.5

I believe this would be a good close game. It's
not going to be because Clinton Portis is OUT
for this one and thats a back breaker for the
Skins. Dallas Quarterback Drew Bledsoe is more
than likely playing for his starting job as well
in this one after having a shakey game last
week in a loss to Jacksonville. He'll have more
motivation towards a regular season game than
normal, and try to put up big numbers to keep his
job from back up quarterback Tony Romo, who had
a stellar pre-season. Terrel Owens will also be
making his first start in Dallas, and will also
have an added motivate to perform well in front
of the home crowd.

------------------------------------------------

Tampa Bay @ Atlanta

Regular Pick = Atlanta -5

Atlanta looked great last week beating Carolina
20-6 at Carolina. Atlanta depend on Michael Vick
and being healthy early in the season allows him
to be that double threat which keeps defenses on
edge. Tamba Bay got beat up @ home last week
27-00 at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens. TB
is still trying to get in sync and have a young
quarterback that is still learning to win in the
NFL. Ride Vick and the Falcons early while
they're healthy.

------------------------------------------------

Detriot @ Chicago

Regular Pick = Chicago -8

Chicago has one of the best defenses, if not the
best overall in the league. Their offense looked
good against GB last week as they shut them out
26-00. I know GB looks to be horrible again, so
thats not saying much, but it was a good tune-up
for Rex Grossman and the rest of the offense,
who have to improve this year if the Bears want
to get to the playoffs.
-----------------------------------------------

N.Y. Giants @ Philadelphia

Regular Pick = Giants +3

I know it's early, but this is almost a must win
for the Giants. I'm sure thats the mentality
that they're going into this game with. They
don't want to play catch up to start the season
by going 0-2, and Phily who would improve 2-0,
are in the same division. The eagles starting
running back, Brian Westbrook,is probable for
this game and missed practice this week due to a
knee injury. If he is slowed down a gear or two
that could be bad for Phily seeing that 1/3 of
their plays are designed around him. N.Y.'s core
of linebackers should harass McNabb causing him
to scramble more than he likes to these days.
Should be a good game with the Giants closing it
out.
