I hope all the suicide football playas here get to move on to Week 2.

It was a pretty rough Week 1 but I managed to survive, barely with the Patriots. We started with 70 folks and 17 have been knocked out courtesy of the Broncos/Panthers/Redskins and Co.

For Week 2, i am looking at the Bengals, Chargers and Ravens.

If you guys have strong leans, one way or another, let's hear it...

Good luck to all as always and Surviving we shall!

Made it through with Arizona. The pool I'm in has buy backs for the first 4 weeks so I'm actually thinking about rolling the dice and taking Green Bay at home against NO. I know they looked absolutely miserable but NO is definitely no Chicago. Not sure if I'll pull the trigger but it would be pretty sweet to use them this week.

Wuf save your $$$ with that Green Bay pick bro.

The Packers has a relatively easy schedule for this 2006 campaign. If you plan to take Green Bay, look at other weeks where they host the Rams/Cardinals/Jets/Lions at Lambeau Field.

New Orleans did enough in Week 1, beating Cleveland in the Dawg Pound, to make me pay attention. At least i won't under-estimate them now. I think Brees is a huge upgrade over Brooks and the tandem of McAlister and Bush is right up there in the league.

A lot of nice choices this week but I am worried about Weeek 3 man.

GL in whatever you decide to choose!

I am taking Baltimore. Looking ahead I wouldn't want to take them again until the last couple weeks of the season and with only 30 people in my pool it won't go that far. The other teams I was looking at Cincy, Miami, Indy, Chicago, San Diego all have multiple chances to be taken down the road.

Remember when playing in a survivor pool, don't worry about next week or down the line because that may never come if you don't take an almost sure thing.
