TN gave TB a good game, but lost in SD. Volek is very dangerous with deep throws, ensuring the presence of firepower into 2d half. (Don't know the rotations, though). On the other side, ATL has two Ws under their belt, and the fire will not be lit to keep up the pressure into the 4th QTR.

WAS put up a fight at CAR last Sat., looked a bit sloppy and could not overcome Panther's emotion for Mills Jersey Retirement. I was on the right side of that one, and I think WAS will want to straighten out their fundamental mistakes here.

The Raiders are healthier than the Texans, and have more fire power at their disposal. For Hou: Carr is dinged up (Achilles), Ragone (knee), and Symons (shoulder), all questionable for Saturday night. (Tony Banks, this is yet another shot for you, bro). Can you say pick-six? If he can?t move the ball, then deep reserve Preston Parsons could see action. Capers is 12-18-1 ATS in preseason, while Turner is 17-15-1.

Carolina? I must resist psychoanalyzing this one. Hard to argue against a team going for its 10th straight preseason victory. Those guys love to win. Betting 101: Never bet against a streak. Fox is 10-2-1 ATS in preseason, Coughlin is 18-19-1.

Indy is badly dinged-up, right? Then why is the line Colts -6, because Grossman is out for Bears? Nah. The Bears moved it well vs. Rams, but settled for threes. I?ll take Dungy at 0-2 to improve his record. Dungy is 19-18-2 ATS in preseason, Smith is 3-3.

Miami has the QB controversy going for them, and Pitt was the recipient of three gift scores, one pick-six and to on ST. Philly rolled all over Pitt?s D. Line has moved toward Mia. Saban is 0-2 SU and ATS this preseason, and Cowher is 29-28-1 ATS lifetime preseason.

KC?s Vermiel goes for it exhibition, and has the tools. Getting all of the OL on the field at the same time has been a problem, though. They?re on it, and should improve this outing. The D should show a spark since the highly motivating Gunther Cunningham plans to call the defensive signals from the sideline rather than the press box. Vermiel is 15-14 ATS in preseason, and Green is 26-20-1.
