7-8 (-1.47)

Like just about everyone else here, I think this one is a joke...

NE -7

Pats front line D has been very good...forced NO to punt on 4 of their 5 series in wk 1...
...kept Ryan and Atlanta to 3 points last week...
...now facing the lowest scoring team in history...with Bradford at QB!!
No offensive points v. Minni at home...got hugely outplayed last week @ Cleveland, just 115 yards passing, and 57 rushing @ 1.72 y/rush!!
NE have scored 27+ points in 5 of their last 6 pre-season games, and although they [probably!]won't go for blood, I'm not sure how SL even score.

Philli -1.5

Still think it's profitable to go against this terrible KC team.
Philli first team D has been solid, keeping Gerrard and Palmer both scoreless...
...should have little trouble here stopping a pretty limp KC offense.
2 things in the offense's favour too...Kolb dominated the Chiefs last year (at home admitedly) in a 34-14 win...and the ground game so far has shown no signs of slowing down, av'ing over 5 y/rush! Bad news for a poor KC D, esp against the run.
Eagles have won 6 of last 7 wk. 3 games...lost ats at home to Jags last year as 7.5 favs, but gave up 16 non-offensive points, outgained them by 200 yards.

NO v. SD OVER 42.5 (1.95)

NO offense hasn't exactly been firing so far, but with Brees and the starters looking at playing into the 3rd here there will be time to get into some scoring rhythm...either way, after the starters go out the thirst for points won't stop with Ramsey playing out the 2H, now in a battle for the back-up role after Daniels haad a big game last week.
Rivers has lead the offense to first quarter scores against statring D's both weeks and should put up some points with extended time here and Volek is always a legitimate scoring chance against back-up D's.
SD have played 2 pretty poor offenses so far (and one good D in Dallas)...both teams will get on the board here and a 23-20 game looks well within reach.

Good Luck all

Pittsburgh -2

Getting this one early, I think it's bound to hit 3...Denver are getting totally dominated on both lines...can't run the ball, can't stop it, and now face one of the most physical teams in the NFL.
Rothlisberger looks like starting, then Dixon then Lefwich to close out the game so there's no reason to think the Broncos can make any sort of late comeback.
