You know Tiger, summer is a nice season, no doubt about it, but I just can't imagine myself living in Florida or South California all year long.

Like you say: The hell with the heat! Drop the puck! FREEZE baby FREEZE!!

Atlanta\Buffalo could hvae a new look by then as I expect the Thrashers to go after Osgood real soon!!

just to observe and not get burned, i'm probably gonna lay off the first few days of NHL to see if anything silly happens...

You most definitely want to avoid big favourites in the first week as nobody can know how good teams are until they have played 3-4 games, but in that same vein, I think there is always lots of value in the dogs in the first week.

If you throw out the top 3-4 teams and the bottom 3-4 teams, grabbing the nice paying dog in the other games could be very profittable$$$$$.
