I was glad to take a day off yesterday after a gut-wrenching Sunday. Both of my picks, including Columbus at +0.5 +200, were winning in the third period (Columbus ahead of Dallas 2-0 going into the third), allowed their opponent to tie, and then lost in overtime. I wanted to throw up. I'm still ahead, so I can't complain too much, but I really thought I had a winning day going, especially with the Blue Jackets up 2-0 in the third and all I needed was a tie for +200. Anyway, here's what I'm on today:
ANA +115
MIN -0.5 +105
CHI +110
That's it. Other plays that were close but didn't make the cut were toronto +100 (seems like a lot of folks are on Boston), atlanta +100 (hard to put $ on atl), and NJ/BUF Under (looks like a play, but the Sabres are apparently going with a rookie in goal so I'll pass). I've got NJ & DET as winners, but after Sunday, I just can't stomach the chalk - I'll probably play a very small parlay just for fun. Good luck everybody. :shrug:
