I'm already on DALL +3.5 (got this last Sunday night) and have DALL open on the second half of a teaser, getting +8.5 I'm adding two plays on this game, because of late breaking developments:
1H -- DALL +.5 (-120)
1H UNDER 17.5
Comments: This is the most meaningful DALL-WASH game in five years, since both teams are actually playoff contenders (maybe a stretch in WASH's case, but I won't argue this point here). I think that plays into a close, conservative game plan for both teams. WASH went away from the Gibb's basic style last week and commited 7 turnovers (LOSING). I think they play smash mouth football this week, hoping to drive down the field and maintain ball control. This could be a game of field position and field goals. This is especially true in the first half of the game, where one or both teams doesn't want to get stuck in a hole. DALL knows that to win in this league it will take some kind of running game. The NYG game film provided some excellent test cases of running in the gaps, which I think DALL will use with some effectiveness. Meanwhile, WASH runs the counter-trey over and over until it works. Other factors: This game will be played in (possibly) wet conditions, meaning the ground game will be more important to both teams. Furthermore, NFL games this year have been very low scoring in the first half (exception in INDY/GB yesterday, but most of the other games were either one sided or low scoring)....whihc I think says something about defenses catching up with offenses. DALL is reportedly going to rotate three RBs for tonight's game, which is an indication they will try to establish the run. Looks like a close, conservative game tonight -- so I like points hwere I can get them and the UNDER, especially in the first half. I say DALL leads 10-6 at the half, so I'm taking DALL plus the half point and the UNDER 17.5 for 300 each (Millinium).
