I bet the 1st half of the St. Joe's game at 5:59 PM over the phone taking St. Joe's -1 1/2. I won the bet and the funds were put in my account. About 20 minutes later I noticed that my account was short. I tried using live hel to no avail. They said the game was cancelled. Now I'm looking at the score and the game is almost complete. They told me I needed to call. After waiting on hold for over 20 minutes a supervisor he told me that because the game wasn't played at Drexal's home court all bets were no action. This has to be the ultimate BS I have ever experienced. What kind of operation do they run? I made my bet 1 minute before the game went off and they didn't know where the game was to be played? Did they arrive at Drexal's arena and security told everyone the game was moved to the Palestra? Funny how mostly all of the other books had roughly the same lines for the 1st half and game, but nine.com couldn't honor the bet. I could see if they had a 10 point favoite listed as the underdog. Anyway I was awarded a $30 matchbet for my troubles. Big F'n deal. My first deposit with nine.com will be my last. Maybe Jack could look into this for me. If I'm overreacting to the situation someone please set me straightstraight. :cursin:

if thats the case, then i will never consider putting a dollar in that book. those philly teams have only been playing at the palestra for about a century now. there are a billion neutral court games or semi-neutral every season. no way in hell thats a justifiable reason to cancel your bet especially when every other book had the same line.
Jack I sent the info to the admin e-mail. No rush on the issue. Not to mislead anyone I only bet $50 on the first half. I can assure you that I won't be evicted due to this misfortune. The bottom line is that this is very weird and I'm sure there are many others who bet mucho dinero that were slighted. Until there is a rationale explanation conveyed I would excerise caution with nine.com. Before this I was more than satisfied with my 2 days of play with them.

by and large, 95% of the books on the internet are pretty decent and im sure most players are generally satisfied with their current book/books.
but its always some dumb shit like this that you get from a nine.com, a royal, a sportsbook.com, etc.
thats what separates pinnacle and olympic from the rest.
pinnacle doesnt give a fu.ck if st.joes and drexel played on an asphalt court down in mexico somewhere -- they'll honor your bet if the number is valid.

The impression I got fromthe manager was that it was such an impact. Like they gave polygraphs to everyone at the Palestra just to make sure they weren't Drexal fans. I'm still perplexed since the game went off everywhere around - 2 1/2 St. Joe's. I bet the first half at - 1 1/2 St. Joe's. Anyway I'm just beating a dead horse right now. Jack will address the issue. I'm sure many others are anticipating their explanation. Maybe it's time to just try Pinny!

See, diplomacy still works! Even though this was a crazy situation that took a lot of my time I most likely will still use them. They were above average prior to this.
glad to hear everything worked out. a big reason for so many st joes games being played at the palestra is not to have "neutral courts" but the opposing teams say that st joes "alumni fieldhouse" cannot hold enough of the visiting teams fans. it holds about 4,000 fans and until the school spends some money to build a new stadium they'll have to continue playing some of their "home" games at the palestra. It's ridiculous to have to play temple, lasalle, penn,drexel,nova at the palestra and then most of the time play the "away" games at the other team's stadium. sorry for venting, just a frustrated hawks alum.
