Quinn +5 over NJIT **
Had capped both teams in the past...both teams have been losing the last few weeks ..Quinn gets beat by Manhattan and Monmouth...NJ loses 7 of last 10...NJ is playing in there new stadium and they play the Princeton offense...everyone touches the ball..pass,pass,cut pass back door ..they have a 5'9 gd in Cook who runs the show who has a lot of assists and steals and many turnovers..they do have a big guy inside in Lewis who is 6'10..he avgs 8 bds a game..the other guys are all gds that avg the same 7,6,6 5 pts a game..they pay solid defense but that stat is also because of there offense style...they have a better front court then Quinn.. Quinn has Young the best player in the MAAC...a 6'6 scorer who avg 23 pts a game..in his last 6 games he has 33,16,26,25 30 and 55 pts..and most MAAC teams double him up so he can play...Kelley is an excellent pt gd who has 112 assists..fron court is questionable with Rigoni,Marfu and Bundu...most MAAC teams attack them inside...Quinn can shoot the 3 shooting at 37% which ranks them in the top 30's..
I had the line at NJIT -2 so I'll take the Bobcats for a few extra pts..
the under might look good at 147.5 but I'll pass.
I have capped a few games but cannot look at anyones post because I don't know the lines..
Leaving for Vegas on Wed but saw South Dak ST is playing Texas tomorrow night here in Austin.. Have to go to that game...I have been talking about Daum for the past 3 years...how can I not go and see him...I capped the game and Hayes Tex center is out...
I have Texas -5-6 as the favorite ...will look at the line tomorrow and make my play..if its higher then that will take SO Dak St if its 5-6 might pass..
Also did North Carolina-Iona
Iona has lost every time in the 1st round and not covered..but has lost by only 1 or 2 pts..this is the worst Iona team representing the MAAC with a 17-15 record...they still can't play defense and now don't have any post players...think NC blows them away big
I have NC -26 or 27 over Iona ..its hard picking a number on games like this ,,how much do you give ??? maybe I will get lucky and they say NC -22...then I will jump all over NC...
Good luck will come back tomorrow with the lines..I just don't want to see the lines yet because when I peek it influences my pick ...maybe I should peek because not looking hasn't helped me
