People are thinking the Lakers have turned around their season... not so fast my friend. They are already being overvalued after 2 straight wins. Not saying they won't win here, but their recent success doesn't erase the 17-25 record prior to that. This looks like a line from early November, before anyone realized that the Lakers stunk pretty bad.
New Orleans has been a covering machine on the road going 15-7 ATS, while the Lakers are 12-12 ATS at home. A look at their last 4 road games shows that they've played extremely well, beating both Boston and Philly, then losing to San Antonio by just 4, before winning at Memphis, a tough place to play, by a comfortable margin. Also, I like the revenge factor here for these young Pelicans. They got blown out at home by the Lakers in early December.
