this from Margaret Kane's article off ZNet:

Changes for PayPal
PayPal will continue to offer its service as an independent brand, but there are some changes ahead.

eBay Chief Financial Officer Rajiv Dutta said eBay will discontinue PayPal's online gaming business,
which was expected to account for 10 percent to 15 percent of total revenue in fiscal 2003. Dutta said
the move is due to the "uncertain legal situation" around online gaming. Citibank recently said it would
stop allowing its credit cards to be used for online gambling, and a bill is currently pending in Congress
that would ban online gambling.

I guess it's time to support Neteller!!

I guess it's time to support Neteller!!

and get Neteller to issue debit cards like paypal. I really liked that.

even if paypal doesn't go thru with this threat right away, we need to show where our support is.

NOT with the anti-gamblers!!! :bigun:

Neteller sucks...

You get charged a 8.9% fee to do an instant transfer?? and Paypal is free. Ridiculous. Why would I want to pay 45 to send 500??

2.9% to use a credit card

at least $15 to withdraw from a sports book using neteller.

I'm very unhappy about losing Paypal, this sucks

Neteller is definately a pain with all the big fees and such but at least they are fast and reliable, which does count for something, in my opinion.
Plus if Neteller was to take this same route as Paypal, then what??  Would the online gambler be screwed......out of luck.....forever  :nono:
I'm sure if that happened we could use fire pay or something else I know little (or knowing at all) about, but do people really want to bother with that? Not sure I do.... Maybe could just do everything through Western Union....if that option is even still available?? (Have only used Paypal and Neteller so far)
Anyone have an opinion or knowledge about this internet gaming bill currently in Congress? Is there a chance that sometime soon online gambling could truly be shutdown completely? Maybe I'm just paranoid as all hell but needless to say I love to gamble and so I do worry about that. Any info would be a great help. Obviously if that ever were to happen, that would be just about THE WORST gambling news ever!! :(
