Just turned on the computer after getting back from New Oreans. Thanks for the kind remark. I've lost track how many times I've traveled I-55 from Memphis to New Orleans and vice versa so I know where Brookhaven is. And I'll do my best to keep hitting over 50% in the long run.

#Cruncher,

Not telling you what you should or shouldn't do but probably want to aspire to hit a little better than 50%. Try atleast 52.3%. You live in H-town?

Kinda Yak, fairly close to the Space Center...probably about 20 miles south of H-Town and towards the water...and to darn close to Hooters and Heartbreakers for my own good

...getting to old for that stuff. And trust me, my aspirations are higher than 50%.

Grew up out that way and used to run around clear lake in my hell raising days. Next time I'm down there I'll have to buy you a beer.

I'll take that 'cool one' Yak...check with Jack for my email address...Funny, I'm working with the Clear Lake School District with Alternative Ed/Special Kids primarily and helping by brother-in-law coach football...you know, if we win, it's me and the kids, if we lose, it's my darn brother-in-laws fault...after all, he's primarily a basetball coach for god's sake

...what does he know about football???

Hey Buddy, How bout those Panthers ending BC's 20 something game home court winning streak...guess nobody's safe in the Big East these days!

cruncher,

They do have a nice team. Brandon Knight and Julius Page are a good duo to run the show, plus it helps when you're large and wide in the frontcourt.

HC Ben Howland (Northern Arizona), is well-liked and it seems like he has his x's and o's in order.

Buddy, they have to be at least decent, to take care of BC, especially at home. Anyway, that was a very satisfying win! I've got a strange feeling this could be a good basketball season for most of us...at least I hope so!

cruncher,

Well, I would think that anyone who blindly follows Yak is gonna' end up in some kind of Penthouse on a South Sea island. Yak is sizzling.

I'm like a terrier that chases cars, but instead has latched on to the tailpipe of a city bus. If I let go of the tailpipe, I'll lose the bus. The victory was in catching the bus, but there has to be a better way to do it.

Speaking of dogs, here's three for Big Monday...
