I've told this story before but it's a new season and I will reiterate it one more time.
Growing up, I had a gambling buddy of mine whose nickname was Goose. Very interesting guy that dies of a rare internal organ disease that only 12 other people have ever had at 27 years of age. Whenever we would see a line that just didn't make any sense he would say, "I'll pay to see!" ANd I am doing just that today with this game and 1st inning. I will take the game OVER 7.5 as well. The Rangers have stayed under that number just 3 times in their first 12 games. Their starter is making his first start of the season since Gray was placed on the IL. A's starter has pitched 2 games this season and sports a tidy 13.50 ERA coming into this start against the heavy-hitting Rangers. This is not Cy Young vs Walter Johnson. I don't understand this total at all and I am definitely not calling it a guarantee, but I will "Pay to see!"
