Okay my favorite MMa fighter is fightin Wednesday night Jeremy Stevens vs Cole Miller. Is the lengh gonna bother him? I know he is prone to get caught in submissions but he gets out of them and this kid has pro boxer like hands. If he gets inside its gonna be a short night. what ya think guys. Anyone ever see Stevens fight before? Kid is still a puppy. tremendous potential.

Sorry Bro but I think Cole will be too much for Stephens.

I believe Diaz over Robinson is a good bet. I was not impressed with Nate on the TUF show but I was very impressed in his fight with Junior Assuncao. Robinson is very good at takedowns but Diaz is very good on his back.

I have a shit load of money on Swick to beat Burkman. I know Burkman is very strong but he is not stronger than 6ft 4inch 205 pound Bonnar and Swick gave him all he could handle and almost choked him out. Burkman has a tendency to gas and Swick is very well rounded.

I don't know Wee, Stevens went toe to toe with Din Thomas and i don't think Cole Miller is close to Din Thomas.

Stephens is a good little fighter and I agree that Din is better than Cole but I actually think that Cole is a bit better on the ground than Din and this seems to be Stephens weakness.

We shall see Bro.

cole miller beat jens pulver, and pulver has a damned good stand-up game....

i think miller has real potential...he`s got a calmness about himself that i like...and that reach...i tried out for wrestling when i first started jr. college after never fooling with it in high school....my friend`s brother was an all state high school wrestler and he had just come back from the service...he talked me into going out for it because i gave him some trouble a few times when we were rough housing....

well,my first experience was vs this string bean that was all county...just looking at us,you`d think i`d have crushed him...

he tied me in knots and made a fool out of me...and that was the end of my wrestling career...all that running for nothing...

miller`s like that guy...only stronger...

curious to see those odds...

i like nate diaz alot as a fighter...he does alot of things well...but,it seems like he needs to get physically stronger....

crane/pellegrino should be a decent tussle,too...

I'm excited to see if Cote can rebound from his impressive win over Kendall Grove.

McFedries is no joke in the stand up, and he's got some mean hands. He had Martin Kampmann(injured), who many out there know is a very good ** dominated until Kampmann put that sick Arm Triangle Choke on McFedries.

I'm taking McFedries all the way in this one.

Cole Miller has never fought Jens Pulver.

I think you're thinking of Joe Lauzon's KO over Jens Pulver.

you are 100% right....that`s exactly who i was thinking of....

thanks for setting me straight...i`m ready for a comprehensive mental tune-up....

weasel this kid has great hands and if Miller wants to get knocked out he will swing with him. I saw Millers last fight and i admit i was kinda impressed. His length does bother me. Ill go Stevens small because i can see him getting caught in a submission if not he wins. Also Stevens when he is on the bottom has nice defense. Its when he is on top when i start to worry. If Miiller starts swinging those long arms like he wants to box, Stevens will flat line him. If he is controlled when he is throwing them he has a chance. Din Thomas is very good with his hands and Stevens i thought got the best of him. He doesn't give up easily. So if he gets put in a triangle he might pass out before tapping.

I would love Swick but I want to see him fight at 170 first. To me he looked to thin at 185, I have a feeling he's going to look like Paris Hilton at 170. I'm not big on taking guys the first time they drop a weight class, we have no clue if he can handle the drop or how it will affect him. But I hate Burkman so I may throw down on it just to spite him.

You could be right but I hope your wrong.

There is no doubt that there are some guys who lose something when they drop in weight. Usually stamina or strength.

Swick seems like a smart cookie so I hope he made the cut sensibly.

Good Luck.

Good Luck.

Swick stated in a recent interview that he has performed a few test cuts in order to acclimate himself to the cutting process.

I'm betting on Swick as well although I'd like to see a weigh in picture 1st to affirm my thoughts.

Swick, IMO was a disapointment to MYSELF because I thought he had the skill set to be a solid fighter in that class.

Now that he's dropped, I think he has no excuses. I'm excited for the UFN. Hell, I'm excited for every UFC fight, cuz I love MMA in general.

i parred nate diaz with bj penn...and swick with penn....and diaz with swick....

so if one loses,i`ll be out a little....i went a little crazy on the penn thing, basically because layinwood and a few others made a solid case...

both fights are tough...i really like diaz, but the kid he`s fighting is a strong wrestler,i believe, and strong, physical guys might be able to overpower diaz...still,i`m glad i have a little action going...lol

anybody think that +325 is more than generous with alberto crane?... i think he at least has a shot...pellegrino`s fought at 170,so he may be to big...but,he also might be drained from cutting to 155...

I've decided to make a fairly large play on Swick. I'm going to take a chance that he will cut the weight ok. He didn't have to cut to make the 185and cutting 15lbs isn't too big of a deal. If Swick can the The Crow and go 3 rounds with Okami, he should be able to beat Burkman without much trouble. The only bad feeling I have is that Burkman could still be stronger than Swick and we all know Burkman likes to swing for the fences from the start. Hopefully he doesn't catch Swick ala Chris Leben
