I know that since it is hard to make out the tone of some messages, most people tend to take things as they are, and take it out of text.

So i will state that this message is just for laughs and a little ribbing.

First thanks for posting what u played in ur contests.

Second i should kick u in the head for either not be honorable or not throwing us a bone.

I took my kick in the head when i took Wash last night(BTW i think Snyder is going to kill someone) i see that u did the "honorable" thing and reposted a winner with GB , rather then taking ur lumps with DET. That is exactly what i would have done as well , but Please throw us a bone this way as well,so i would not have taken it so hard.

So i stated before that i would get a drink for ya when i see ya, well add to the list one good kick, i will let ya decide knee or head.

Remember i was ribbing ya Nolan, believe me ANYTHING u offer we are all thankful. I by no means demand or expect ya to posts picks.(unless i am on the other side)BTW in ur write-ups it seemed as though u might have leaned towards Wash at -8.5 but i thought that since the line had moved to -10, u would have been all over it. Hence my move last night. On that note quick question, at the half when it was 10-0, GB was -4, i was thinking about wedging my bet(As i tend to always do and end giving it back to the book b/c i was on the right side in the first place) i didnt want to have a double problem if GB had won by 11,12,13 not to metion the chance of pushs on both ends of the pole. But the ? is would u have recommended that type of wager?

Anyway im out, thanks Nolan.

***NOLAN COMMENTS: The contest you are refering to is single-elimination. I entered the play of DETROIT -1 on Saturday and was prepared to write it off as a loss. Then, I saw an e-mail from the contest organizer on Sunday night that there was a problem with his website (where the picks are registered). He said none of the picks counted and we would ahave to re-enter the play of the week. I am certain a lot of players in the contest either won or lost, but since they opened it up again, I took a flyer on the Packers and managed to win. Since the contest goes on, and I followed the rules as they were set, I'll continue. Obviously, I got a lucky break since the Detroit loss was not recorded. As for Washington I clearly WROTE AND UNDERLINED that teams with offensive line problems are NOT to be trusted. I warned that you may want to lay off the game. Since I had no opinion on the total, I decided to play the Packers in the contest, but that play has nothing to do with my overall record.

***NOLAN REPLIES: I did lean to Washington stron early in the week, but that's what the CONTRARIAN section is for -- to re-think initial reactions. The more I thought about it, the more I relaized that the Redskins were not a play at any price. One reason why I UNDERLINED my remarks in that game about passing is that the offensive line is so key to picking these games, that I thought it needed emphasis. I'm sorry you assumed I would like Washington getting more points. That was certainly not the case. I beg of you to always read the remarks all the way through, as I too can have wrong ideas about a game early (or even late) in the week.

On that note, quick question, at the half when it was 10-0, GB was -4, i was thinking about hedging my bet(As i tend to always do and end giving it back to the book b/c i was on the right side in the first place) i didnt want to have a double problem if GB had won by 11,12,13 not to metion the chance of pushs on both ends of the pole. ***NOLAN REPLIES: I'm sorry, but half-time wagering is not my forte. I have very little experience with that, although I am doing a test run and trying to learn more. I do not feel I am qualified to give advice on this question.
