For this week I am taking the following as the wheel game....

New England +3.5

1/2 unit on all other sides...

Miami hammered New England earlier this year at Miami, 30-10. That was Brady's first game, I believe. Miami playing 3rd game in 13 days, including west coast SF game last week, where they were shut-out 21-0.

Brady was shut down a bit last week at Buffalo, where they produced 4 gield goals in 12-9 win, in a game they probably should have lost. I see Antwain Smith being the difference in this game, as well as revenge from game one, as the NE Defense comes up big...

Prediction:
NE 20 - Miami 13

Last week: Saturdays wheel did well, using Zona +12 as wheel, going 20-8.

Sundays wheel, although I hit the wheel game, went under 500%, going 5-6, as all of the 4:00pm and late Sunday and Monday games failed to cover the 13 point teaser addition..this was unusual, and certainly disapointing.

Allow me to 'pick' your brain. I do not understand what kind of bet this is. Can you explain? Thanks.

Patternseeker - this is a type of bet - called a teaser wheel - that I learned of from Nolan Dalla in one of his earlier write-ups. I am assuming you know what a teaser is.

The premise of the wheel is that you pick one side of a game which looks good and has a high chance of winning, using +6.5 or +7.0 points. You then place a teaser bet on each team in every other game.

For instance, today I am using New England +3.5. Therefore. for example, I have:

1. NE+3.5 and MIAMI +10.5
2. NE +3.5 and PHY +9
3. NE +3.5 and SF +4...

and so on down the entire list of games. You will end up wiht about 29 bets with a full slate of games.

If you hit the first half of the teaser, you are assured of winning 50% of the bets. Then, any of the the games which remain relatively close [within the 13 point teaser spread] you will win both sides...of course, if you lose the first game, you go 0-29...
