Made it home from Reno in one piece(sort of)......

Can't brag about my scores, but you were right about the money to be made in brackets. Shot 588 in team, 553 in singles and a 540 in doubles and got at least 3 times as much money back from brackets in each shift....I really benefited from tossing 200+ games in the first games of each shift.
Turned right around and lost what money I had won in the brackets on the craps tables, but managed to keep a few bucks in my pockets due to my Reds going on a hot streak vs the Rockies/Astros.....:D

All in all, a great time, Lake Tahoe is beautiful and I told the wife that if the two of us go out in '07 that we are staying in a B and B on the Calf. side and then drive into Reno to bowl.

Next year is Baton Rouge for a few days then a week in the Big Easy eating crawfish etouffe and and drinking ourselves silly...... ;)

Hi redsfann. Shooting those 3 sets will get you money everytime at ABC when it comes to brackets. At least you shot the big games early in each set. You should get a few bucks for All-Events too.

How was the Sands? Were the rooms decent?

That's a great plan for 2007. B and B's out there are very nice.
Might check into that myself.

Ahhh.....crawfish etoufee, now you're talking. I love Cajun food! My plan is BTR for the tourney and then over to Gulfport and staying at Beau Rivage for a few days.

Thanks for checking in. Glad you made it back and had a good time.

Rooms at the Sands were nice enough-- fully re-modeled in the last few years as I understood it. The casino though, was a joke. You pretty much saw it all on the walk from the front door to the window to pick up you bracket money. Also, its a bit too far from the stadium and the rest of the casinos for my tastes, so if the wife doesn't want to go next time in '07, I'll argue for staying at the Silver Legacy or at the very least, the Cal-Neva.
Would like to go over to Gulfport myself, but we haven't been to New Orleans since before we were married(probably 8-9 years ago now) and so its time for a visit. Besides, the wife isn't much of a gambler so N.O. will be more fun....;)
