not sure what these new gadgets can do....not interested in reading books with them...the library`s right down the street....

Not sure about the nook but the ipad, the new kindle fire (only $199)...., can surf the net wherever there"s a wifi signal available.

Actually looking at the kindle fire due to low price and will pretty much do what I need...surf the net, read a book, play a movie..only 7" diagonal screen I believe.
