Terrible choice. How they got in ahead of Miami OH is beyond me.

no, there will be no crow for anyone to eat

its not over who wins or who doesn't

on any given night, anyone can win a game

they lost 10 GAMES in and 7 in a mediocre at best conference

its ridiculous

plenty of 7-8 loss teams in much better conferences that got robbed

in the best of them, I mean the mid-conference teams...but I really do think this team has a chance to get past the first round

Of course remember every year it seems that the one team everyone gripes about wins. Auburn to Sweet 16 2 years ago. I remember Fla St as a 6-10 ACC team won 1 or 2 games.

Heaven, oh!!, this isn't it?!
Northern Iowa will not get by Wisconsin. They have not seen defense like this, and will get worn down and frustrated. Not saying Wisky will cover though, they have a tendency to keep things interesting :)

Right state but wrong team, Freeze...

I think its a joke that Iowa got in myself. They leave an equally pathetic Indiana team out--but yet the Hooisers went 9-7 in the league while Iowa went 7-9. Should have left out Minnesota as well and gave a mid-major team like Buffalo a spot in the field, IMO.

Our moron of an A.D. Bob Boobsby as chair of the selection committee played no part in Iowa getting in, right?

And if you believe that.....

I too was shocked when I got home to see them in the field of 65. And who cares if they ALMOST beat an Iowa team that went 7-9 in the Big Ten, which itself is nothing to write home about this year (besides MSU, Illinois, and Wisconsin). In addition to the teams mentioned already in which they lost, they also have key losses to Bradley, Wichita St., and Drake.

IMO, the following teams should have been selected over N. Iowa (in no particular order):

1) Buffalo
2) Miami OH
3) Wichita St.
4) St. Joe's
5) Depaul
6) Texas A&M
7) Indiana
