Someone from another sports forum has been tracking how teams do after either 3 wins or 3 loses ATS for both sides & totals & then betting against teams with 3 ATS winners & for teams with 3 ATS loses. Looking at his data it appears that a much higher winning percentage (65%) can be obtained by applying the same logic after 4 wins or loses ATS & by eliminating totals. So, in effect, I feel I've fine tuned his data in order to gain a greater advantage.
In short, his logic is once a team wins or loses ATS a number of games in a row the odds maker must change the point spread in order to encourage the public to wager a paticular way. A losing team will be given more points & a winning team less points. Also, just plain old percentages will be working in our favor.
I have not yet wagered one cent on the logic above, but I would like to use this forum to track the logic.
YTD 0-0
Tonights plays would be on:
Atlanta +8 (Has lost 5 straight games ATS)
L.A. Clippers -2.5 (Phoenix has won 5 games straight ATS)
Utah +9.5 (Has lost 4 straight games ATS)
(Pointspreads are from Pinnacle)
I don't know how this is going to work out in the long run, but I intend to post plays & track winning percentages as long as it appears to be making a profit. WISH US LUCK
