This is a guy who has an in with ufc.

Nuthin really happenning again this week other than UFC finally buying Pride. All of us in the industry could feel this, or something like it, coming so it was good to get the waiting over with. Can't wait to see those mega fights there promising, other than that, it looks like Liddell vs Jackson is official for UFC 71 on May 26.
Thats gonna be a helluva rematch.

i actually wish this never happen. Competition is always good. Something Dana White said recently rub me the wrong way. He was furious at Pride for having Vanderlay Silva fighting a tough opponent in his last fight where he got knocked out. He was made because he had a Vanderlay and Iceman fight all set up. Makes you wonder why Pride was always a better card than UFC. Look like Pride was more for the fans and Ufc is starting to turn into boxing's bullshit scripts of giving us shitty fights some cards and then finally giving us the knockout card. Sometimes these guy get to big for there own shoes.

i`ve heard that white has some boxing background.....

i`d like to see that as a sidelight on one of these lousy ppv`s....like the one on the 7th....
