You forgot Jay Cutler and Jeremy Maclin. Love that Matty Ice to Julio connection in league 1 and my Cutler to Marshall connection in league 2. Sweet music baby. Hoping to start both leagues 1-0 so you losers can start chasing the champ from week 1!!!!

49ers kicker David Akers became tied the NFL record for the longest field goal in Week 1 against the Packers. With a few seconds remaining in the first half, he lined up for a 63-yarder and the ball barely made it through after taking a generous bounce off the crossbar. "When you hit the goal post at any part it usually makes that horrific noise and then it usually bounces back," Akers said. "This time it got there. It was a sweet bounce. It was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime type of a deal." Akers made all three of his field goal attempts in the 30-22 win and also converted three extra points. He made his kicks from distances of 40, 43 and 63.

Fantasy Analysis

Akers became the fourth player in league history to make a 63-yard field goal and is having a productive game so far in Week 1. After making 44 of 52 field goal attempts a year ago, he entered 2012 as one of the more valuable kickers in Fantasy and is off to a solid start. An improved passing game in San Francisco should mean more points for the 37-year-old so continue to view Akers as a reliable option in all Fantasy formats.
