NCU,
I read your reply under "Best Places to Live" and if Kauai isn't the best place to live, it has to be in the top two.
While in the Navy and stationed on Oahu in the early 70's, I had the opportunity to spend a week in Kauai.
I forget where we stayed, but I toured the island, played golf at the Wailua Golf Club, saw the "Grand Canyon" and spent a day on the beach where they filmed the movie, "South Pacific."
If you enjoy fishing, golf and a perfect climate, Kauai has to be considered.
Anxiety is not permitted there as the locals do not get excited about anything.
