Sorry Buddy, I just got back to MJs after trying to cap tomorrow's MAC games.

Utah State's large WIN/COVER, 68-42 as a -4' pt. road fav at uc riverside coupled to CS FULLERTON'S home fav outright loss to a weak Idaho team, made CS FULLERTON appear as an easy victim.
I think that had a lot to do with public perception.
But the ats road performance slightly favored CS FULLERTON.
In addition, I think another hidden statistic in this matchup was CS FULLERTON'S 3 consecutive home covers in December.
In my opinion, I think every team is allowed a "slip".
CS FULL "slipped" at home with Idaho. Prior to that, they play on the road as a 6' pt. dog and only lose to the number by a point and a half.
Before that, they go 0-5 SU, but....................
5-0 ATS !!
I realize all the stuff about hindsight, but I also think there's a lot of value in going back and seeing how and why we picked the wrong side.

After this loss, Superbook and I spent time in the chat room last night discussing this game.
We we're trying to locate and identify what we overlooked so we don't make the same mistake again.
My post of this info was to merely save Superbook some time from looking up this info on his own.
Looking back over that game, I think Vegas caught us with the "public perception bait."
Superbook and I are friends in this forum.

Take a look at the Recent Meetings. Canisius won last 5 in the series.
Now, take a look at ATS Road Performance for each team. Favors ST PETERS.
Now, take a look at ST PETERS Home Record--Unfavorable to PETERS
Neither team has a significant quality win.
Take a look at 5 game recent performance for each team. Greatly favors Canisius.

Playing on the road is difficult, but St. Peters, although they have an ATS win and push on the road, they cant play at home.
I think Canisius is worthy of laying 8' as a road favorite.
