hey guys,
I read your replies under, "What are the..."
Since both of you think alike in focusing on teams in your locale, you may want to exchange emails and communicate that way.
I communicate with a couple of MJ handicappers via email and it sharpens the focus of games that we're interested in.....certainly eliminates a lot of distractions.
I am from Pittsburgh, and although I could focus on the Steelers, Panthers, Pirates, etc, my handicapping is more general in scope. I follow an ATS momentum trend and am more a "situational" handicapper than someone who follows team stats, etc.
I wouldn't be of much help in what you guys are trying to achieve. My handicapping homework is exhausting and all over the board. I've been doing it for years and I trust it. It would be difficult for me to change my methods now.
I still think a "fraternity" of handicappers who focus on their home teams is a great idea.
If others knew of what you two were trying to achieve, I think you might end up with a good group of handicappers.
